Efudex
Efudex (1% and 5% topical fluorouracil) is a prescription chemotherapy cream used to treat precancerous sun-damaged skin (actinic keratoses) and certain superficial skin cancers. It destroys abnormal, fast-growing cells, often applied to the face, scalp, or body to treat actinic keratoses, Bowen’s disease, and superficial basal cell carcinoma.
